I’ve recently started looking for a new phone. I was on my old phone talking to my insurance company about a car crash insurance claim and it was a nightmare! I couldn’t get any information out of them and I got more and more angry. In the end I just snapped and I ended up throwing my phone against the wall! Al my fault I know but I couldn’t help myself. I was close to the end of my mobile phone contract anyway and I had been on a really poor contract. I got hardly any free minutes, no free texts, and the phone they gave me was absolutely rubbish!
I decided this time round that I would make sure that I got a great deal and a phone that I liked. I had heard about a great site which had mobile phones with free gift. I had a look at a few sites online and although I saw a few deals that weren’t for me, I also came across some great ones. I had been looking out for a . To be honest it had got to the stage where I had my heart set on it.
Thankfully I finally found a site with the HTC desire deals and a great free gift too! The contract price was great and there was a shed load of free minutes and free texts included too! I signed up immediately and I was amazed when my phone came through the letter box the very next day! The phone is great and I am spending less money on my calls than ever before. If you think you want to take advantage of this great deal I found, you can see here for more info.

My father is in his early seventies with hearing problems and his current mobile doesn’t suit him. He can’t hear the ringtone, and even when he CAN and answers the phone, he can rarely hear the person on the other end.
I want a Pay As You Go phone with basic functions (not fussed about camera etc.), a LOUD ringtone, loud speaker volume, vibration, not too small and is easy to use.
I’ve read up about Communic8’s Life phone, but at £170 it’s a bit too expensive – my father would never use it as he’d be scared of losing it!
Can anyone recommend something?

Quite recently I have noticed more and more people using the mobile phones with video and still cameras built in. Are they really neccessary?
All too often I see people walking around town with camera phones, filming people as they are going for no apparent reason. Why? I find this behaviour very insulting if someone is walking towards me with a camera taking a picture or video for the sake of it.
Pointing camera phones through shop windows taking pictures or videos of people, blokes sat on benches filming girls as they walk past in summer.
It seems to me that these phones are taking away our privacy too much. I know that if I am in town I will be on countless CCTV cameras, but these can be regulated. I strongly object to mobile phones with cameras.
